We have it from our good friends at BMW Blog that they have it from their good friends that the 2009 BMW Z4 is going to come with both a soft and hardtop, similar to what Mazda does with the Miata. Those in sunny climates can have their lightweight softtop. Those in areas where the weather gets a bit rougher can opt for the hardtop. Abortions for some, tiny American flags for others. Horray! I love the look of the 2009 BMW Z4. Being a resident of South Florida, I think that the softtop is perfect. It will make a great addition to our “Tropical Spirit”.
